About Mahmoud
I am a junior biology major at Minerva University. I am also a research assistant at a UCSF genomics lab where I analyze the human genome data to identify complex diseases causal risks. Doing research allows me to be up to date with the science in the making. A passion that I share with my students through focusing on science as an exciting process

I have been enjoying tutoring at SF Boys and Girls Club and before it Science Heroes Academy to High School and Middle School students. I am passionate about designing interactive sessions that allow deep processing instead of passive dissemination. I care about the student progress and personalize the lesson plans to their needs and background.
