About Opal
"Currently finishing my Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Adelaide, I devote my time to distilling complex biological systems for my students. 4 years of tutoring experience has taught me that the difference between an average grade and a high distinction lies in how one approaches the data. I analyze food webs, energy flow, and complex protein synthesis for students who need more than just textbook definitions.
My work covers plant biology, physiology, and the intricacies of mitosis alongside genetics and inheritance. I also guide students through biological drawing, ecology, and the mechanisms of evolution and natural selection. Molecular biology remains a focal point in my sessions for those tackling advanced curriculum requirements.
