About the lesson

I’m an experienced Biology tutor with over 7 years of helping students succeed, and I hold a BSc in Zoology. Over the years, I’ve guided many future medical professionals and pharmaceutical scientists to deepen their understanding of biology’s most exciting frontiers. My main passion lies in teaching students about pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine. I love showing how genetic variations influence drug responses, and how this knowledge is transforming patient care.

I help students explore the pathways of drug metabolism and the role of enzymes, receptors, and transporters shaped by our unique genetic codes. Together, we dive into how pharmacogenomics paves the way for safer, more effective treatments tailored to each individual. Many of my students come in feeling overwhelmed by the complexity of genetic data, but I break it down into clear, relatable concepts. I also make sure we connect these ideas to real-world healthcare applications and case studies.

My approach is highly interactive, mixing theory with practical examples and current research trends. I’ve seen how these topics inspire students to pursue careers in medicine, pharmacy, and biomedical research with confidence.
