About Tessa
My journey in biology began with curiosity about how the human body and living systems function. This led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Human Biology, where I developed strong foundational knowledge in life sciences. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students understand biology in a structured and simple way that builds confidence and academic success.
I believe biology should be taught with clarity, patience, and active engagement. My teaching approach focuses on using diagrams, examples, and step-by-step explanations to simplify complex topics. I encourage students to ask questions, observe carefully, and practice regularly so they can improve steadily.
Outside teaching, I enjoy learning about new biological discoveries and topics related to health and environment. This helps me bring fresh and relevant ideas into my lessons. Teaching biology is very meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them develop curiosity, strong concepts, and confidence in their learning journey is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Intermediate learners work on processes, system connections, and structured answers. Advanced students focus on detailed understanding, application-based questions, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice, revision sessions, and feedback to ensure steady improvement and strong conceptual clarity.
