About Arjun
I hold an MSc in Molecular Biology and have 7 years of experience teaching students from secondary school through university level. My interest in biology began with a fascination for how living organisms grow, adapt, and interact with their environments. Over time, this curiosity developed into a passion for teaching and helping others understand the science of life.
My teaching philosophy centres on clarity, encouragement, and active learning. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasons behind biological processes rather than relying on memorisation alone. I work closely with learners to build confidence, improve scientific thinking, and strengthen their ability to apply knowledge to new situations.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading scientific journals, exploring developments in genetics and biotechnology, and following research related to health and environmental science. Helping students discover the excitement of biology and develop confidence in their abilities is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Biology becomes much more interesting when students see how living organisms are connected through common processes and patterns. My lessons focus on making complex topics such as genetics, cell biology, human physiology, ecology, evolution, and microbiology easier to understand through clear explanations and practical examples. I encourage students to ask questions and investigate how biological systems function rather than simply memorising facts. This approach helps learners build deeper understanding and long-term confidence in the subject.
Every lesson is adapted to the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners strengthen their understanding of core concepts, while more advanced learners work on scientific reasoning, data interpretation, and examination techniques. I use diagrams, case studies, real-world applications, and interactive discussions to make learning engaging and meaningful. Regular review activities help students reinforce important ideas and improve retention.
Biology is a subject that develops curiosity about the natural world. My goal is to help students become confident learners who can connect biological concepts, analyse scientific information, and appreciate the role biology plays in everyday life, healthcare, environmental science, and future discoveries.
