About Emery
My fascination with biology began with observing organisms, ecosystems, and cellular processes in daily life. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Life Sciences, where I gained expertise in physiology, genetics, molecular biology, and ecology. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students build analytical thinking, scientific understanding, and confidence in exploring complex biological concepts. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using diagrams, experiments, guided exercises, and examples to make lessons tangible. I encourage independent exploration, inquiry, and problem-solving, supporting learners’ intellectual and personal growth. Outside teaching, I stay updated with research in molecular biology, biotechnology, and ecology. Incorporating these insights enriches my lessons, allowing students to connect theory with real-world applications. Helping learners gain mastery and confidence in biology is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
