About Georgia
My fascination with biology started with a curiosity about how organisms function and interact within ecosystems. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Biotechnology and an M.Sc in Cellular Biology, equipping me with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Over 9 years, I have guided students at various levels, fostering understanding, analytical thinking, and scientific curiosity.
I teach using structured guidance, visualisations, and interactive examples that make complex topics approachable. I encourage learners to ask questions, think critically, and explore independently, developing confidence and problem-solving skills.
Outside teaching, I engage with research, conservation projects, and biological studies to enrich lessons. Mentoring students for exams, projects, and competitions allows me to witness their growth, analytical reasoning, and intellectual curiosity. Helping learners connect theory with real-world biology and discover the beauty of life is the most rewarding aspect of my work.

Biology is the study of life in all its complexity, and my lessons bring concepts to life through interactive explanations, visual models, and practical examples. Students explore cellular structures, genetic mechanisms, ecological interactions, and evolutionary principles, gaining a clear understanding of both micro- and macro-level biology. Lessons are designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical skills while connecting theory to real-world phenomena.
I customise lessons for each learner. Beginners focus on basic cell biology, simple genetics, and observable ecological patterns, building confidence through structured activities and demonstrations. Intermediate learners engage with molecular biology, complex genetic analysis, and ecosystem modelling, reinforcing analytical thinking. Advanced learners explore experimental design, bioinformatics, and applied research projects, developing independent problem-solving and reasoning skills. Each session integrates active participation, observation exercises, and critical evaluation to ensure deep understanding and application of concepts.
Beyond academic understanding, biology lessons cultivate observation, logical reasoning, and scientific curiosity. Students learn to hypothesise, interpret data, and connect principles across biological scales. My goal is to help learners develop both competence and a genuine interest in biology, enabling them to excel in studies and think like scientists who appreciate the intricacy and interconnectedness of life.
