About Amanda
I’m a Bachelor of Science student majoring in Zoology with a minor in Latin at UWA, with a strong passion for animals, conservation, and life sciences. My background includes practical lab work, ecology studies, and experience explaining scientific concepts clearly. I know the challenges of balancing content-heavy subjects, so I make my tutoring approachable, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace. I especially enjoy helping students who feel “stuck” regain confidence and see biology as something exciting, not intimidating.

Biology can feel overwhelming with so much content to memorize — but I focus on making it clear, logical, and easier to understand. I tailor lessons to your goals, whether that’s preparing for exams, working through assignments, or just building confidence in tricky topics. Each session can include: • Breaking down difficult concepts (cell biology, anatomy, ecology, genetics, etc.) into simple steps. • Practice questions and exam strategies. • Visual aids and diagrams to make topics “stick.” • Study tips and memory tricks that I use in my own university studies. My aim is to help you not only pass but really understand biology — so you can apply it, not just memorize it.
