About Kayla
I am a Science Teacher with an Undergraduate degree in Zoology, a Master's degree in Marine Biology and I obtained my teaching degree in 2017. I have been teaching full time in High Schools since 2016. My students say that I am kind, caring and fun!

I base my lessons on giving real world examples and making the science relevant to the students' own experience. I also love utilising technology in my lessons as these are additional skills the students can take forward. I believe that ability to recall information effectively is the best way for students to succeed, so I have been doing more to increase opportunity for recall in my lessons.
