About Jak
I have a BSc in Biological Sciences with 1st class honours, the school prize and a year in industry (at GSK). I am currently completing an MSc in Immunology and proceeding onto a PhD in Biophysics.
I have supervised 5 students in a laboratory setting ages 16-21 and really enjoy helping others understand my craft. I am new to private tutoring but very amenable to travel and a desire to help others learn.

I have thorough notes from GCSE --> MSc level Biology including problems, mind maps and diagrams in easy to understand syntax.
I believe learning is a combined process between teacher and student. With this in mind, I would start lessons as a discussion on the topics to be taught, with an interactive lecture that includes posing easy--> challenging questions to the student.
I can help with note-taking, examination preparation and further knowledge to really access the higher marks.
