About Shifa
I firmly believe that 12 years at the Aga Khan Academy has helped me nurture and develop leadership, critical thinking, and creative skills. This is only possible through lively discussions, team-based projects, and independent research through which I was able to explore my interests in Bioinformatics. Apart from the educational aspect, it offered me an opportunity to explore my talents in Football and playing Guitar. I am currently taking the undergraduate program of Biology at TMU and hoping to secure a successful career in Bioinformatics with the use of high-quality education at Canada.

I aim to assist students with basic math and science skills as students often face difficulty solving problems and approaching questions with a correct method. This will boost the student's confidence while writing the exam and my tutoring skills can be put to best use in order to give students a little push. Tutoring requires problem solving and communication skills in addition with extensive knowledge in the subject. Answering problems also require approaching them from different methods and my experience will be useful for students to excel in their studies.
