Recent graduate from Rutgers University in Biology with a strong academic background in math and science. I previously worked as a Learning Assistant for college-level Calculus I, where I helped students understand difficult concepts, work through problems, and prepare for exams. My experience working with students has taught me to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable to different learning styles. I focus on making math feel simple and approachable by breaking problems down step-by-step rather than just giving students the answer. I adjust my teaching style based on each student's strengths and areas of difficulty, using practice problems and different explanations until the concepts click. Having tutored Calculus I at the college level, I have experience helping students work through challenging concepts and build confidence in their abilities.
