About Jon
I'm a senior Biology student that has completed classes in; General Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology, Virology, Medical Bacteriology and Cancer Biology. I've also mentored over 10 students through university-sponsored programs and have been involved in research related to Entomology, Plant/Soil Bacteriology, and Agronomy.
I love teaching others and believe that Biology as a subject is commonly taught in a confusing and misleading way. I'm open to tutoring all skill levels.

I believe that Biology is a set of stories and a history of life, understanding the subject this way allows students to develop a strong approach based on critical-thinking that nurtures students to use the connections that makes the most sense to them rather than the rote memorization that many teachers use. My skill set allows me to tutor nearly any undergraduate and high school biology course that students may encounter.
