About Devan
Hi Students! My name is Devan Melwani and I am a first-year at UC Berkeley studying Molecular and Cell Biology + Business Administration. I am the oldest grandchild on both sides of the family, so I have been a role-model and teacher to all my younger cousins my whole life.

My teaching method includes interactive lesson plans through platforms like Nearpod which combine quick quizzes after each section of material is learned, open-ended questions that allow you to deepen your understanding of the material, and Quizlet lives or Kahoots at the end of each lesson to solidify the material learned in a fun way. I also take constructive feedback after every lesson and modify my lessons according to that, allowing you to have a lesson that best fits your learning style. I can teach biology for middle schoolers and high schoolers, but nothing above.
