I am a senior biology student pursuing my doctorate in Physical Therapy. I have tutored roughly 20 students on my campus who have shown improvement in their grades in Principles of Biology courses after attending my sessions. In the past, I have given lessons to underclassmen attending my university. I base my classes on student needs, focusing on areas they are most struggling with and adapting instruction methods to meet their learning styles. I tend to explain things using metaphors to help the students compare biology principles to their everyday lives to provide a more in depth understanding.
