About TaSharra
I am a Biology student at Texas Tech University preparing to graduate and continue my journey toward medical school. Throughout college, I have maintained a strong academic record while taking challenging science courses in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, anatomy, and more. I also have experience as a Biology Learning Assistant, where I worked directly with students to help them better understand course material and feel more confident asking questions. I understand firsthand that science can be challenging, so I am patient, encouraging, and willing to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported while improving both their understanding and confidence.

I know science courses can feel overwhelming, especially when you are trying to memorize a lot of information at once. My goal is to break difficult concepts down into simpler steps and explain them in a way that actually makes sense. I adjust my lessons based on each student’s learning style and can help with class material, homework, exam preparation, study strategies, and understanding concepts instead of just memorizing them. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and leave each session feeling more confident than when they started.
