About Rastin
I'm a Life sciences student at the University of Toronto and I have experience with AP Biology as I self-studied my way to a 5 on the exam; I know what it’s like to build a score and a study system from scratch, and ways to truly find success with your academics. ️
I scored a 1520 on the SAT (790 Math, 730 Reading & Writing), so I’m comfortable teaching the proper test-taking skills (smart pacing, pattern recognition, and staying calm under time pressure). So far I have catered 2400+ minutes of online instruction, helping 25 students across 4 countries maximize their test scores and succeed.
Outside of tutoring, I love storytelling, movies, tennis, and golden retrievers.

My lessons are clear, focused, and built around what students actually need to know. I create personalized slides that cut out the extra noise from textbooks and online resources, making each topic easier to understand and remember.
Each session includes simple explanations, guided examples, and targeted practice problems. We work through mistakes together, build stronger problem-solving habits, and focus on steady improvement.
For AP Biology, I emphasize core concepts and exam-style application. For SAT prep, I teach strategy, pacing, pattern recognition, and confidence under pressure.
