About Thomas
I am a PhD student studying the evolution and systematics of snails. I have a particular passion for invertebrate zoology: I am working with a student research team on publishing a paper about colonial hydroids, and I am involved in several government and museum projects related to snail taxonomy. I am fascinated by our biological world and I love sharing it with other people!

I like to use guided inquiry, which leads students to answers by asking them intentional questions. Lessons are customized to what a student would like to learn, and builds off of what they already know. I have tutoring and TA experience with general biology and genetics, as well as extensive field biology and research experience.
