About Bahar

I love learning, and I love teaching. Throughout my career in finance to a senior level my highlights have been the people I have mentored and tutored. My academic background is in sciences and I have a degree in Biology as well as a MSc in Immunology and Neuroscience. My passion for learning took me back to university more recently for a second MSc in Psychology. I have helped students with entrance exams as well as Oxbridge interviews. I love teaching and seeing students really reach their potential.

About the lesson

I love to see students excel and reach their potential. I want my students to learn to love the subjects they study. I can help you excel in exams but also to expand your knowledge beyond that and make it relevant to the world around us. For me it is key that we click and you enjoy the sessions with me. When you start to enjoy learning my subjects, that's when you will reach your potential. I can work with all ages preparing for school entrance exams, GCSE and A Level. I like to start by assessing your level, finding out where there are gaps and then working on those together. That includes gaps in the content but also looking at how you learn, how you revise, how you use your time and your exam technique. We will work towards your goals whether that's achieving certain grades or just preparing for interviews with knowledge beyond the curriculum.
