About Lyra
I am a biology tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. My interest in biology began with curiosity about living organisms and how life works. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding and confidence. My goal is to make biology simple, clear, and enjoyable for every learner.
My teaching style is patient, clear, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple explanations so students can understand easily. I use diagrams, real-life examples, and revision strategies to support learning. I also adapt my lessons based on each student’s needs and pace, ensuring steady progress. Helping students build confidence and strong understanding is always my main focus.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific discoveries and developments in biology. This helps me bring fresh knowledge into my lessons. I feel proud when students gain confidence and begin understanding concepts independently. Supporting their growth and helping them develop a strong understanding of biology is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience, encouragement, and consistent support throughout their learning journey.
