About Chelsea
My fascination with living systems and the intricate processes that govern life inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Molecular Biology. Over the past 7 years, I have guided students in understanding both fundamental and advanced topics in biology, including cell function, genetics, ecology, and molecular mechanisms. My teaching emphasises conceptual clarity, practical application, and independent reasoning to help learners engage deeply with the subject and develop strong scientific skills.
I strive to create an environment that is patient, supportive, and interactive. Lessons combine clear explanations, visual aids, discussion, and hands-on exercises, helping students connect abstract biological principles to real-life examples. I encourage questions, active exploration, and critical thinking, allowing learners to develop confidence and intellectual curiosity while mastering complex material.
Beyond teaching, I continue to engage with scientific research, laboratory techniques, and ecological studies to ensure my lessons reflect current developments in biology. This enhances students’ learning by providing context and relevance. Watching learners progress from confusion to mastery, and seeing them become independent thinkers who appreciate the complexities of life, is profoundly rewarding. Biology is most engaging when students connect the microscopic world to the larger ecosystems around them. I focus on topics such as cell biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, evolution, and molecular biology.
