My style is simple: you lead, I listen, and together we target exactly what you need.
Many tutors try to cover everything. I don't. I focus only on the specific sections of the course you're struggling with — for example, Food or Ecology. Once you choose the topic, we work through every part of it until you're confident.

My approach is student-led, not syllabus-led. This means it suits for students who feel overwhelmed by the full course and want to target their weak areas first
First, we identify exactly which sections of the course you find difficult (e.g; Food, Ecology etc).
Then we focus on those topics - no time is wasted on what you already know - that is covered in school. These lessons are the extra boost you will need to turns all of your weaknesses into strengths.
I use the first free lesson as an opportunity to chat to the student about how they feel they are getting on in LC biology and assess their level. I then create a plan based on what topics the student wants/needs to cover. This also provides clarity for students as they know exactly what they should know at the end of the lesson and what they will learn the next lesson. I also allow students to send me any amount of homework/study notes that they don't understand and I will provide resources and additional lessons if they so wish.
Typical Lesson Length:
1 hour - enough time to deeply cover one or two topic sections without overload.
(30-minute and 90-minute options available on request.)
