About Ayushi
Hi! I’m a Biology graduate with a Master’s in Business Analytics, and I’m passionate about helping students truly understand what they’re learning—not just memorize it. With experience teaching through various volunteering programs, I’ve supported students from different academic levels and learning styles to achieve their goals. As a Biology graduate with a Master’s in Business Analytics, I take a concept-first approach to teaching. I focus on helping students understand the ‘why’ behind each topic, not just memorize formulas or definitions. I aim to build strong foundational thinking so students can apply concepts confidently across questions—not rely on rote learning.
I use step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and visual aids to make abstract topics in Maths and Biology more relatable and intuitive. Lessons are interactive, with plenty of questioning to encourage active learning and critical thinking. I also guide students on approaching problems methodically, recognizing patterns, and connecting ideas across topics.
A typical session runs for 60 to 90 minutes, tailored to the student’s pace and learning style. My experience comes from several volunteer tutoring programs, where I’ve worked with diverse learners and adapted my methods to suit each one.
I teach secondary students (ages 10–15) preparing for MYP, IGCSE or IB, and those who want to deepen their understanding in Maths or Biology.
