About Sorcha
Having recently finished my undergraduate degree in Biology, I am looking to share my knowledge with students. I am excited to help you learn, and I will do my best to keep lessons engaging and informative. Whilst at university I was a private tutor for 4 high school students, across a range of subjects, who enjoyed lessons and achieved good end results.

My method of teaching is flexible to the student’s needs and learning styles. Initially in most of my first lessons with students I like to understand their preferred learning style and which part of the course they are currently at within their school class, and if there are any topics in particular that they would like to go over again to consolidate terms, or any aspects that they were unable to understand in school and would like explained to them again. Topics that they would like to go over again, then become the basis of the next lessons: first of all by breaking each concept down to its basic components, building from there and finishing each section with exam questions from previous years to understand if the student could now use their knowledge to accurately answer any exam question that they may be faced with.
