I would provide student-centered lessons tailored to their individual needs and interests. My teaching approach incorporates visual aids to enhance the understanding of biological concepts, alongside regular knowledge checks through quizzes and oral assessments.
I possess a strong foundation in STEM subjects, evidenced by my GCSE results: Maths (8), Biology (8), Chemistry (8), and Physics (7). Furthermore, I achieved an A in A-Level Biology and recently obtained my undergraduate degree in the Netherlands.
During university, I served as a teaching assistant for courses such as Brain and Cognition, and Molecular Biology and Recombinant DNA, where I gained valuable face-to-face teaching experience. Additionally, I completed a 'Basics of Teaching in Academia' course, providing me with foundational pedagogical knowledge.
