About Anthony
I’m Anthony, a Biology graduate from the University of Balamand with over 7 years of tutoring experience. Since 2019, I have helped students develop a stronger understanding of Biology and science through clear, structured, and personalized lessons.
My academic background, practical laboratory experience, and EMT-B and CPR/BLS certifications allow me to bring both theoretical knowledge and real-world applications into my lessons. I am committed to creating a professional and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
I take every student’s goals seriously and adapt my teaching approach to their individual level and needs. Hi, I’m Anthony, a Biology graduate from the University of Balamand and an experienced tutor who has been teaching students since 2019.
My teaching approach is student-centered and personalized. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorizing information. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, visual aids, questions, and practice exercises to make difficult topics easier to understand. I also adapt my pace and teaching style depending on each student’s level, goals, and learning preferences.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material and an assessment of what the student already understands. We then introduce the new topic step by step, using examples and questions throughout the lesson. After explaining the key concepts, we work through practice questions together before allowing the student to apply what they have learned independently. We finish with a short review and identify any areas that need additional practice.
What sets me apart is the combination of my academic background, practical experience, and several years of tutoring. Alongside my Biology degree, I have practical laboratory experience in areas such as microscopy, genetics, microbiology, PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, cell culture, and aseptic techniques. I also hold EMT-B and CPR/BLS certifications, giving me additional knowledge in human biology, health sciences, and emergency care.
My lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, and university students studying Biology or related science subjects. I can help with general Biology, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, physiology, exam preparation, assignments, and difficult concepts that require extra explanation.
Whether you are starting from the basics or preparing for an important exam, my goal is to make Biology clear, practical, and easier to master.
