About Katherine
I am a recent Biology graduate from the university of Kent with A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and History, as well as AS Levels in English Literature and Maths. I have 11 GCSEs at grades A*-B. While I am new to tutoring in an official capacity, I have several years experience babysitting ages 7-11, which did involve homework help.

My approach to teaching involves clear communication, breaking difficult subjects down into simpler concepts that are more easily understood. I also believe firmly in tailoring teaching to the individual, as each child learns in different ways.
I find that many students have difficulty identifying specific areas that they struggle with, so I use past papers and frequent quizzes to identify areas of weakness, so that these areas can be targeted for improvement.
