About Namira
Hi! I’m Namira, a recent Biology B.S. graduate from New York Institute of Technology, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in three years. I’m also a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and am currently in the process of applying to medical school. Throughout my education, I have completed extensive coursework in biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry I & II, biochemistry, and mathematics. I also have prior tutoring experience and genuinely enjoy helping students turn subjects that initially feel overwhelming into material they can understand and feel confident working with.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s course, learning style, and specific areas of difficulty. I break down challenging concepts step-by-step, work through practice problems together, and create personalized practice questions and mini-tests based on what each student needs to improve. For chemistry and biochemistry, I can help with reactions and mechanisms, equations, calculations, metabolic pathways, and conceptual problem-solving. I also provide targeted quiz and exam preparation so students can practice applying what they learn rather than simply memorizing it.
