About Shannon
I began working with students as a Teaching Assistant in college and then became a certified tutor. My first teaching job was as a science specialist in Massachusetts. I then helped run an education coop in South Carolina. Lastly, I completed the Texas State Teaching Certification coursework, passing my teaching exam with a 98%, while working as a teacher in Texas public schools.

I attended the University of Tampa in Florida where I double majored in biology and marine science and minored in chemistry and environmental science (BS degree 2000). I also completed my Texas state teacher certification coursework and and have 7 years teaching experience. I have a Master's in Divinity as well.
