About Lydia
Hey! My name’s Lydia and I am a neuroscience researcher studying stress behavior in Zebrafish. I have an B.S in Biology with Honors and am working towards my PH.D. I have been tutoring students for over a year and absolutely love seeing that lightbulb moment when everything finally clicks! My students walk away from my class feeling rest assured that they now understand these difficult and often hard to grasp concepts involved in Biology and science in general. I have such a passion for researcher and Biology and I love teaching my students what I’ve known to be true not only from the textbooks but what I have experienced as a researcher in the lab.

Fun! I like to have fun! I believe that fun helps us learn things faster and easier. If we are trying so hard to learn a difficult subject - to the point where we become agitated and annoyed - this can inhibit the brain from comprehending the subject at hand and slows down the learning process. This is why I always start with Fun!
