About Sky
Hi! I'm Sky, an A* A-Level Biology student and lifelong biology enthusiast. Whether it's cells, genetics, ecology, or human physiology, I genuinely love learning about how life works and helping others understand it too. I also hold a degree in 3D Video Games, Animation & Effects, which perhaps explains my love of visual learning!
Biology is a subject that rewards a deep understanding of processes and concepts, along with the ability to apply knowledge across different topics. My aim is to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills while helping students build confidence in their understanding of the natural world. I achieved all 9s and 8s at GCSE, and I've found that success in both GCSE and A-Level Biology comes from a combination of strong subject understanding, targeted exam practice, and a thorough understanding of mark schemes.
My lessons focus on breaking topics down into simple, easy-to-understand explanations using visual diagrams and live digital annotations. We'll summarise key content, learn the keywords and phrases that earn marks, and apply everything through topic-specific exam questions.
I'm highly adaptable and strive to tailor lessons to each student's individual learning style. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and tackling any areas you find challenging.
I truly look forward to helping you build confidence in Biology and achieve your goals!
