About Finley
My interest in biology began with curiosity about how living organisms grow, function, and interact with their environment. This passion led me to pursue a PhD in Life Sciences, where I developed deep knowledge of biological systems and processes. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students from different levels, helping them build confidence and strong understanding in biology. Teaching allows me to guide learners toward clarity and success.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my methods to match their pace and level of understanding. I break down complex topics into simple steps and use diagrams, examples, and discussions to make learning easier. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently so they can build confidence over time.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new developments in biology and improving my teaching methods. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching biology is very rewarding because I see students grow from confusion to confidence. Helping them build strong knowledge, develop curiosity, and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

My biology lessons are designed to make learning simple, engaging, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with fundamental topics such as cell structure, human body systems, and plant biology, explaining each concept step by step in simple English. I focus on helping students understand how living systems function instead of memorizing facts. I use real-life examples such as health, environment, and daily biological processes to make learning more meaningful and relatable. I also create a supportive and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
As students gain confidence, I introduce more advanced topics such as genetics, evolution, ecology, and biotechnology. I guide them through structured explanations and diagrams that help them understand complex processes clearly. Practice questions are included in every lesson to improve understanding and accuracy. I also review mistakes carefully so students can learn from them and improve step by step. Each lesson is designed to support steady progress and strong conceptual clarity.
Biology helps students understand the living world and their place within it. As students continue learning, they become more curious and confident in exploring scientific ideas.
