About Bruce
I have 12 years of teaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Genetics and Genomics. My passion for Biology began through studying how genetic information influences living organisms and shapes biological diversity. Teaching allows me to share that fascination while helping students build confidence in science.
My teaching approach is based on patience, clarity, and meaningful engagement. I enjoy helping learners understand difficult concepts through simple explanations and practical examples. Every lesson is adapted to support individual goals and learning styles.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about advances in genetics, biotechnology, and environmental science. These interests help me bring current scientific discoveries into lessons and keep learning exciting. Supporting students as they grow in knowledge and confidence continues to be one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

My Biology lessons are designed to help students explore the living world through clear explanations, structured learning, and scientific enquiry. We study cell biology, genetics, ecology, anatomy, physiology, evolution, and microbiology while connecting concepts to real-world examples. I focus on helping learners understand biological relationships rather than simply memorising facts.
Each lesson encourages active learning through discussion, observation, and analysis. Students work with diagrams, biological scenarios, and guided exercises that strengthen both understanding and critical thinking. Concepts are introduced step by step so learners can develop confidence while building strong scientific foundations.
I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. Personalised guidance and regular feedback help learners overcome challenges and make steady progress. My goal is to help students become confident thinkers who appreciate the importance and beauty of Biology.
