About Sarah
Biological sciences (especially genetics!!) and teaching is truly my passion. Last year I wrote my first literature review and delivered a speech on 5-alpha-reductase deficiency to my class and any other unfortunate soul who would listen. I can spew the scientific jargon for hours, but at the end of the day I’ll always be the kid explaining sodium-potassium pumps as if it’s two bffs hanging out in the back of the class. I have the credentials to know what I’m talking about, but also the experience to make it easy for you.

As a current student, I know how to talk to other kids in a way that will make sense to you. Translating complicated lectures is my superpower because I can always find a new way to explain things. I know how hard sciences can be because I live through it everyday, but that’s why I’m here. Sometimes you just need to hear the information from someone your age who experienced your struggle just a few years ago.
