About Sam
I have always been told I was a good teacher, ever since being a gifted elementary school kid meant helping my peers. I have tutored my little brother for 6 years now. And at college I have been asked to be a tutor for both chemistry and biology next semester. The university had asked me to be a tutor because I scored high in both of those classes. However, I know that it takes more than that to be able to tutor someone. Teaching involves care, motivation, and patience; all qualities I beleive I can bring to the table to make sure that everyone I tutor has the best possible experience and reaches their fullest potential.

I have been tutoring my little brother since he was in 3rd grade. He has dyslexia and other learning disabilities and I am comfortable teaching others that do as well. Through teaching my brother, I have an understanding about how to motivate kids like him and how to get them to unlock their full potential. I will create a customized learning plan for every student so that each of them gets the learning that they need to catch up and or be prepared for the next school year.
