About Sophia
Hi, I'm Sophia! I was born in the US, but have lived in London and Munich for the last 8 years. I have always loved Biology and Chemistry as school subjects and so decided to pursue them in university. I also enjoy playing football, running, and spending time with friends outside of uni!

I prefer teaching in person in order to effectively engage with the individual student and accommodate their personal learning styles. I like keeping tutoring informal and upbeat. I believe in students taking responsibility for their own work and find that they are most successful when given autonomy over their own learning. With this as a tutor I am there to guide, encourage, and answer any questions through the child's learning as well. I tutor ages 10 and older. I studied higher level Biology and Chemistry in the IB, and have experience tutoring both.
