About Annalise
I have a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Occidental College. I love teaching all subjects, but I specialize in Genetics. I have extensive tutoring experience as well as teaching certifications in other subjects, such as TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), as well as Theater.

I believe in taking a kinesthetic approach to learning. Lectures and Power Points only get you so far. Students learn by doing, and need to actively participate in a subject in order to learn. I also teach with the idea that true understanding is superior to rote memorization.
