About Ligia
I teach virtually using a webcam, digital pen, and whiteboard. It works very well and I guarantee total attention to the student (after all these years any teacher understands by the student's body language whether he is following the class or not). I always start with a global summary and then move on to exercises. I help with homework and study for assessment activities throughout the academic year. I do study and strategy planning to enter higher education.

I have a degree in Biology, a Masters in Microbiology from Instituto Superior Técnico. I am obtaining a PhD at MIT Portugal, which already included work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cornell University (USA). I have been teaching individual classes for more than 5 years in Biology / Geology, Mathematics and Chemistry / Physics. I am aware of the programs from the 5th to the 12th year. I also give classes in exam preparation, special education and teaching for adults who want to enter the +23 exams or enter professional education.
