About Mary Coleen
I am a BS Biology graduate, I'm giving lessons to 12 schools usually Grade 5-6 and Grade 10-12 and 6 communities (villages) for two years. Through my teaching strategies, students and the residents of the communities had noticeably changed characters, behavior and views on the importance of nature. Relative thereto, a rising support from the communities and schools were established through their participation in environment conservation and protection undertakings.

I always practice a student-centered approached wherein I usually anchor my methods of teaching based on the interest or potential of the students. I make sure that I cover the three domains of learning namely the cognitive, affective and psychomotor to instill a life-long learning. I commonly encouraged my students to suggest activities that they are comfortable and confident for them to actively participate the lesson.
