About Amen
The only thing that I love more than science and math, is teaching people my favorite subject. In high school, I previously was a math tutor and it brought me so much fulfillment to be able to help someone with something that is my passion.

My ultimate teaching philosophy is that it is more important to understand a concept rather than to memorize a bunch of facts. My typical lesson plan for sessions is to first assess prior knowledge, then move onto the actual tutoring portion and explaining key concepts. Then I like to include a guided then independent practice and end the session with a quick summary of everything they learned.
