About Jamie

I originally wanted to get a science degree because of my fascination of the world around me and life itself. I soon decided to add an education degree to the mix when I wanted to share that passion with others and help them see how incredible the world can look through a scientific lens. I found myself excited when my students understood and got excited to explore and understand more! After starting my own family, it is time for me to step outside of the classroom and find other ways to continue my love for educating, including tutoring! I am so excited to meet you and help you accomplish your goals!

About the lesson

My teaching strategy is to meet students where they are, then create a plan to get them to where they want to be. This could include help with homework, studying for exams or just trying to increase overall scores.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation with my clients before beginning to discuss their needs, create a plan to help them accomplish their goals and to ensure a good fit. My lesson plans are focused primarily on content/worksheets/topics the student provides prior to the lesson when possible in order to maximize our time together.
I have experience with a wide range of students and can help with elementary, junior high and high school courses.
