About Una
My passion for Biology began with a curiosity about ecosystems, living organisms, and environmental change. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and later a Master’s Degree in Environmental Biology. During the past 9 years, I have worked with students seeking stronger scientific understanding and academic improvement.
I enjoy helping learners simplify complex biological topics through clear explanations and practical examples. My teaching style focuses on encouragement, patience, and adapting lessons to individual needs. Creating a positive learning environment is central to my approach.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying conservation efforts, ecological research, and emerging discoveries in biological science. These interests help me bring fresh perspectives into my lessons. Helping students develop confidence and curiosity in Biology remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

My Biology lessons are designed to help students understand the living world through clear explanations and meaningful connections between concepts. We explore ecology, genetics, human anatomy, physiology, microbiology, evolution, and biodiversity using structured learning methods and engaging discussions. I focus on helping learners understand how biological systems interact rather than simply memorizing information.
Each lesson is adapted to match the student’s academic goals and learning preferences. Through diagrams, concept mapping, guided activities, and review exercises, students strengthen their understanding and retention. I encourage learners to ask questions and develop confidence through active participation.
Biology becomes more fascinating when students see how scientific concepts explain everyday life and natural phenomena. Through consistent support and effective learning strategies, students improve their analytical thinking and scientific reasoning skills. My goal is to help learners build confidence while developing a genuine appreciation for life sciences.
