About Jessica
I'm a student at the University of Liverpool who has given lots of private lessons to my peers before and have even tutored GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry. I'd love to share my knowledge and passion for the sciences!
I achieved an A* in A- level Biology (best mark in the year overall).
I was a senior cadet instructor for 2 years teaching lessons on policing (ages 13 to 16).
I have been tutoring for years to my peers and family friends at GCSE and As level in particular. I have specific experience teaching a dyslexic student who found my teaching method 'refreshing'.
My students have always yielded results by achieving better results in tests and exams.
I consider myself to be friendly and flexible so I am willing to change any aspect of my teaching style to suit individual student's needs.

I base my classes on the students individual learning needs, even in a group I find ways to help students all reach their full potential. I am dyslexic myself so I understand special learning needs. I like making my lessons very interactive, I don't like just talking at students for an hour. I am very receptive to feedback from students and willing to change any aspect of my teaching to better suit their needs.
I plan all lessons before hand and incorporate time to answer questions. I will give only short activities in lessons to not take away too much lesson time.
I love making lessons fun and I like to help less confident students come out of their shell.

Details
I don't mind doing lessons for such a low price as I love my subject and really enjoy helping students achieve great things!
I am more than happy to answer questions outside of classes for free. Any work that I set will be marked for free also. The only cost is the lessons!
I can also offer a free 30 minute study skills lesson for any block booking.
