About Carl
I am a biochemist who is in his 3rd year of a PhD program. I taught high school biology and chemistry for one year before starting my program. I have 2 years experience being a online TA for biochemistry and molecular biology courses am looking to expand my experiences to the private sector.

I am very much so an audio/visual learner and understand that the needs of every child are different. I like to meet with the parents before tutoring starts to talk about their child's individual needs. I will also talk to the student about exactly what they think they need and how they best process information.
I base my classes on active learning techniques and using logic to teach how to wade through problems in science classes. I also have experience in developing video presentations to teach chemistry.
