About Zachary
My experience spans from formal academic settings to hands-on industry work, allowing me to bring real-world applications to complex scientific concepts. I excel at breaking down difficult topics into understandable components, tailoring my approach to each student's learning style. While tutoring college level courses, I also volunteered at a local sea center where I educated guests and school groups on the marine animals that inhabited the California central coast. I was also part of an outreach program where I would visit schools and assist teachers. My passion for science education, combined with my professional background, enables me to provide comprehensive, engaging, and up-to-date tutoring in biology, biochemistry or molecular biology.

I have experience as a college-level biology tutor. I have helped students that didn't think they could finish a biology course reach the top of their class! I think biology can be a fun and exciting topic to learn. My approach focuses on deconstructing biology down to its component parts and then building your understanding of it from the ground up. I have a strong understanding of: organic chemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, and biochemistry, and how these systems interact with one another and relate. From the basics of cell replication and DNA synthesis to biotechnology I will be able to help you succeed in your bio-related courses!
