About William
Hello, I'm a fresh Graduate from the University of Bristol with a high 2.1 in Biochemistry. I have A-levels in Biology and Chemistry so I'm happy to help with both, either or anything related. Having enjoyed the course so much I actually taught and tutored first year students while I was my second and third years. I had to plan and teach weekly hour long lesson to help students in the lower years get through dense material. I found I really enjoyed trying to explain the trickier scientific concepts as well as helping the students with maths problems. I would like to apply this experience in planning lessons to teaching A-levels and GCSEs. Having studied and sat at least six exams a year for the last 6 years I have built some revision and learning tactics that really work for me. For example I find it is better to perform extra reading to get to the heart of each concept, rather than spending the same time repeating the surface layer facts. Also I find reading around the subject helps bolster the valuable facts that really need to stick.
Furthermore I have done baby sitting in the past (that I am happy to provide a reference for) and enjoy working with children. Hope to hear from you,
