About Esther
I have taught since I was quite young (in different varieties, from horse riding lessons, to chemistry at uni, to yoga currently), and I have always found it deeply gratifying. I remember the difference having private lessons with school teachers or tutors when I was learning, and how much difference that made to my learning. I'm naturally empathetic and a good communicator which is often overlooked when teaching the sciences, so think I can really help in this area.

Lessons are based around the course textbook for A-level and GCSE. University level, I use lecture notes and my studies. During term time I focus on areas requested by the student, then as exams approach tend to switch to practice papers. I am also happy for the direction to be student-led.
60, 90 or 120 min lessons for GCSE (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), A-level (Biology, Chemistry), University level (Chemical Biology, Organic Chemistry).
I also have a lot of experience reviewing and editing reports, papers etc. so offer this too as well as lessons on scientific writing and communication.
