About Megha

Hi! My name is Megha and I have recently finished my A-Levels where I achieved *A* A B in Psychology, Biology and Chemistry.

However, I wasn’t always a top student. I was actually predicted Es and Us in Psychology at one point. It was only when I taught myself what a top-scoring Psychology student actually looks like, and what examiners are really looking for, that I started to improve.

Because of this, my aim as a tutor isn’t just to teach students the answers. I want to help them understand how to think like an examiner and what they need to do to reach the highest bands. This means learning how to structure, apply and evaluate their answers in a way that gains the most marks.

Most importantly, I want students to become confident and independent enough to recognise what makes an answer top-band and improve their own work, rather than always needing someone to tell them what to write.

About the lesson

- Structured, organised chronological approach. Focus on providing a comfortable space for students
- Aim to thoroughly work on understanding, memorising and objective specific exam technique.
- Will practise a lot of AO2 (APPLICATION) of knowledge through past paper questions and analysing high scoring and low scoring model answers
- Heavy focus on active recall, spaced repetition and practice.
- Will be interactive with student and will use feedback to tailor lesson to each student's individual learning style.
- Will provide personally made and tested resources (Essay Plans, Exam technique cheat sheets etc..)
-Will give student personal objectives to work on after each session
-Lesson length (1hr -1.5 hr)
