About Erica
My name is Erica and I am a bilingual Japanese-Australian. I am currently a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science).
I graduated from Melbourne Girls' College in 2022. My favourite Unit 3/4 VCE subjects were Japanese SL, English Language, Physical Education and Psychology. I also studied English, Biology and Mathematical Methods.
Last year I took a gap year to live in Osaka, Japan for six months (Feb-Aug 2023). I am a passionate footballer and played in the Kansai Division 1 League for Osaka City Ladies FC during my time overseas.

I structure the lessons depending on the student for a personalised approach. I can help with oral conversations in Japanese as well as helping with reading, writing and grammar. I completed the VCE in 2022 and finished VCE Japanese SL in 2021.
- I scored an A+ in all SACs and final exam including 99/100 on the oral exam.
- I was a previous student at the Melbourne International School of Japanese and Victorian School of Languages.
I am open to anyone keen on improving their Japanese language skills. I am flexible in my approach and would suit students studying the VCE.
