About Camylle

About Me Hi! My name is Camylle and I’m a bilingual student from Dieppe, NB. I’m currently pursuing university studies in the health field with the goal of working in pediatrics one day. I’ve always had a deep desire to help others, and tutoring gives me the chance to support young students and help them succeed academically and personally. Over the years, I’ve worked with children in many roles—babysitting, volunteering, and working in healthcare—and these experiences have taught me to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I believe every student has potential, and sometimes all they need is someone who believes in them, listens, and explains things at their pace. Whether a student is struggling with confidence, understanding concepts, or staying motivated, I’m here to guide them with kindness and positivity. You can count on me to be reliable, organized, and fully invested in your child’s success.

About the lesson

Who the Lessons Are For I offer support primarily to students in elementary and middle school who need help with general subjects (Math, English, French, Science). I also enjoy helping students who have learning difficulties or who simply need a boost in confidence. I have worked with several children that have disabilities. What Sets Me Apart I am patient, empathetic, and a great listener. Having worked in both healthcare and community settings, I know how to adapt to different people and communication styles. Being bilingual (French/English) also helps me connect with students from various backgrounds. My Approach as a Tutor As a tutor, my goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel confident, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s individual needs, learning pace, and personality. Teaching Methodology and Techniques I use a student-centered approach, focusing on understanding rather than memorization. I often incorporate visual aids, analogies, and real-life examples to make complex topics more accessible. I also encourage active participation through questions, short exercises, and discussions to keep students engaged. A Typical Lesson Plan: 1-Warm-up (5–10 minutes): Review of previous material to reinforce memory 2-New content (15–25 minutes): Explanation of new concepts using clear examples 3-Practice (15–20 minutes): Guided exercises or problem-solving 4-Wrap-up (5 minutes): Recap and check-in on student’s confidence and understanding **** I always adjust the plan based on the student’s progress and mood that day.
